Publishing a Service in the Catalog

After hosting and onboarding your Service, you can now proceed to publish it in the GAIA-X-Med Catalog to make it publicly discoverable and to allow Consumers to form Contracts for using it.

This guide describes how to use the Catalog to do just that. It requires that both the Service as well as the Provider responsible for it have been onboarded.

1. Access the Catalog web application

Visit https://catalog.gaia-med.org to access the Catalog web application. You will need to authenticate using your Participant Identity File and passphrase.

Important

Make sure to login using the same identity that you entered during onboarding of your Service as the Participant that officially acts as the “Provider” of the Service. Otherwise, you won’t be able to publish the Service.

2. Enter the Service Offering DID URL

Once authenticated, click on Add New Services in the menu on top.

Enter the DID URL of your Service Offering here and press Submit form to start the registration process.

Entering the DID URL of your Service in the Catalog for registration

Enter the DID URL of your Service Offering to register it in the Catalog.

Note

Your Service Offering DID URL corresponds to the location where its Credentials are hosted in the Credential Store. See the Service Onboarding Guide for more details.

3. Finished

The Catalog will perform some routine checks on your Service Offering. If everything goes well, your Service will be added to the Catalog.
